Build and test it
Build the core workflow, connect the data it needs and test realistic examples. Secure your app, protect API keys and check who can access each customer’s data before a controlled trial.
The result: A working first version, tested against the job it must do.

Launch and run it
Deploy your app and connect a custom domain. Work through day-to-day operations, error monitoring, backups and restoring data. Add payments if your project needs them, then learn to make and release an improvement yourself.
The result: A tool in use and a repeatable way to maintain and improve it.
We cover what your project needs. An email automation may not need a domain or payments. These are planning windows, not waiting periods. A simple automation may be useful much sooner. Launch timing depends on the scope we agree and the time you put into building.

Can I do this without knowing how to code?
You do not need a software engineering background. You do need to be comfortable learning tools, working through problems and checking results. AI coding tools help you write and change software; automation tools connect existing apps. Owain helps you choose the right approach and understand what you are building. This is not a promise that every project can be built without technical help.
What if I don’t have an app idea?
Start with a recurring job in your business, not an app idea. We might look at how you handle email, prepare reports, research leads, produce content or onboard clients. Your private planning session turns a useful problem into a focused first project. Sometimes an existing tool or a small automation is the best answer.
Will you build the difficult parts for me?
We can investigate bugs, work through technical decisions and fix problems together. But you remain responsible for implementing the project between sessions. Owain does not take the build away and deliver it as an agency would. If you want the system built and managed for you, Gradientwork is the separate done-for-you service.
Why pay for guidance instead of hiring a developer?
Hiring a developer can be the right choice if you want delivery without doing the work. Build Together is for owners who also want to learn how their tool works, maintain it and make changes themselves. You are paying for project-specific engineering guidance and support while developing that capability.
What happens when I get stuck between sessions?
You can share your work and questions through the agreed async support channel. Bring the context, what you tried and what went wrong. The live format, availability, response times and submission limits will be confirmed before you pay. This is not instant, unlimited or emergency production support.
How much time will I need?
You need protected time to build between support sessions. We assess the demands of your project and your available time before you join. If you want to hand over the work completely, or cannot make regular time for it, this is not the right format.
Is a launch in 60–90 days guaranteed?
No. We agree a realistic first-release scope and target launch within 60–90 days during a 90-day engagement. The timing depends on scope, dependencies and your participation. A simple automation may be useful much sooner. If progress slips, we review the blockers and adjust the plan. Any work beyond the engagement would need to be agreed separately; the final terms will be clear before payment.
Can I build a complete business platform?
We start with one focused workflow, not every system in your business. A dashboard, email automation or single-service client portal can be a sensible first release. Large migrations, complex platforms, native mobile apps and high-risk uses of sensitive data need separate assessment and may not fit this engagement.
What does it cost, and what happens after 90 days?
The proposed founding price is $4,500 USD total, paid in three monthly payments of $1,500. It is one engagement, not an ongoing monthly membership. Your AI tools, API usage and hosting are separate costs. You keep the project in accounts you control and learn how to maintain it. Ongoing development or managed hosting is not included. Final scope and commercial terms will be agreed before payment.
What happens when I join the waitlist?
